If you would simply like to create a project without taking a several-hour or multi-day class please visit the Walk-in project page.  These projects are designed with no experience needed and even children ages 5 and up may participate!

If you’d like to take a particular class that you don’t see on the Calendar, please e-mail or call and we will find a date and add it to the schedule. We design classes around participants and interest.

Our Glass Fusing Basics Series 1-9  teaches classes that cover the basics of working with glass and heat.  You will learn about color reactions, glass powders, creating textures, working thick, and cold-working techniques.  They do not have to be taken in order.

Once you have taken our Glass Fusing Basics I class, you are able to participate in our open studio time where you can use the studio and facilities and put your knowledge to work creating beautiful glass art.

We do not charge for open studio.  Participants buy their own supplies and materials and work within their own ability level.  Open studio is NOT open classroom.  Employees will not guide you or assist in making your project.  Participants are expected to take the appropriate classes for the techniques they wish to use in their projects.  We design each class to save you money by doing the experimenting for you and showing you what can go wrong and how to avoid it.  Come join us for fusing fun!

Kiln Firing, Glass Cutting, and Edge Finishing are taught by appointment

* To be registered for a class, all fees must be paid before the first day of the class. Payment can be easily made directly from this page under each respective class offering. If you prefer, we can also take payment over the phone at (208) 938-1055 or in person at the studio.

* 24 hour notice of cancellation is required for rescheduling. Cancelling the day of class or not showing up for a scheduled class will result in a fee of 50% of the cost of the class and the remainder will be placed on your in-store credit account.
